Extremely Disappointed – Misleading Product & Terrible Customer Service
I am beyond frustrated with Meera Bharadwaj brand and I ordered a dress from their website that was clearly listed as cotton-spandex. However, what I received was a completely different material—nylon-polyester—which not only feels cheap but also caused a reaction on my skin. It’s absolutely unwearable.
What makes this even more disappointing is that I had previously placed two orders with them, and both were delivered exactly as described—made from actual cotton-spandex, just like the website said. That’s the only reason I trusted the brand and ordered again. I liked the first two products, which is why I came back. This also makes it very clear that the fabric in this new order is completely different—I know the difference because I’ve worn their genuine cotton-spandex before.
When I contacted their customer service expecting them to acknowledge the issue, I was met with complete denial. They refused to take responsibility and said they don’t accept returns for items from their night gown/lounger wear collection—which is unacceptable. What are customers supposed to do if the product is misrepresented or causes discomfort?
To be fair, I even offered to accept a gift card instead of a refund, just so they wouldn’t have to reverse the payment—but they still refused. Instead of owning up to their mistake, they chose to be dismissive and unhelpful.
This kind of negligence and lack of customer care is absolutely unacceptable. I trusted Meera Bharadwaj brand and ended up wasting my money on something I can’t even use. I will not be shopping from them again and I strongly urge others to be cautious—what you see on their site is NOT necessarily what you’ll get, and if something goes wrong, don’t expect any support.
